Brent and Heather Madsen led a small team of YWAMers to Mazatlan with the vision of pioneering a training campus. The initial “campus” was a 13 bedroom house nicely situated across from the beach.
In 2007
They hit full capacity and began to look for a building that would accommodate for future growth.
They found the perfect building - an older, barely used Hotel - a block away.
A few years after the Hotel was purchased
They set their sites on the properties adjacent their land and began purchasing them - one by one - as funding allowed.
Currently
The YWAM Mazatlan Campus sits on 1.6 acres of beachfront land and continues to expand. The vision is to develop a multifunctional training campus within the city.
Although the photos won’t do it justice they will give you a feel for what our Campus is like.
