Throughout the year, we have many short-term volunteers called Mission Builders that come and join our family! This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to volunteer their time at our campus to serve and get involved. (For long-term staff, a DTS is required, so that they can be trained for full-time missions.) Mission Builders are a HUGE blessing to us, as they empower our staff to serve in the specific areas they are called to; not to mention- we love to host all people, the more, the merrier. Come on down, and discover for yourself the fun of serving a ministry committed to helping young people know God and make Him known.
Our Reconnect Program
YWAM Mazatlan is sending out a very special invitation to all "retired" YWAMers who would like to "RECONNECT" with their YWAM family again! We believe it's on God's heart to see all generations ministering together, and for that reason we are asking the Lord to send us YOUR GENERATION. We value your life experience, the wisdom you have and want you to know THERE'S A PLACE at YWAM MAZATLAN for YOU!
Do you have a heart to mentor or coach the younger generations? Come!
Do you desire to use your gifts, skills and expertise to help a ministry grow? Come!
Are you looking for a place where you can share, teach and impart the principles God has shown you over the course of your life? Come!
Please take a few minutes and watch the video from others, like yourself, who have come and served alongside us. The testimonies of how God uses their life experiences, their skills and their wisdom will touch your heart.
Mission Builders International is a volunteer placement branch of YWAM, which helps people from all over the globe get their hands into missions! Whether you'd like to come serve for a few days to a few months, you'll be playing a crucial part in our mission! It's the perfect chance to be on the mission field, and be a part of a movement that is sending young people to the nations!
While you're here, you join with everything we do as a family. You're a part of every meal, worship time, local outreach; every part of the life of this community. As you build our mission and get involved with local ministries, you're also welcome to start dreaming with God about further steps in missions.
We would love to have you here, and there is always work to be done! Check out how you can get involved.

The City of Mazatlan
Mazatlán is located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, across from the tip of the Baja Peninsula. The city has a rich history and culture all its own, and expressions of these can be seen throughout the year in a variety of festivals and cultural exhibits.
We are located right outside of the historical heart of the city. There are street tacos, markets, beautiful streets and architecture, and excellent cafe's and restaurants. Our base sits right on the boardwalk against the ocean; perfect for early morning runs and quiet time on the beach! Come and explore our beautiful home!
