Payment Options

OPTION #1 - Paying with a Personal Check

First make check out to "YWAM" Then, on a separate piece of paper write a note saying who it's for and what it's for. Please do not write anything for the memo on the check. If something is written in the memo, El Paso will not be able to process the check, and it will be returned to the sender.

  • Who it's for - (your name.)
  • What it's for – (ex.Ywam Mazatlan January DTS LECTURE or OUTREACH fee's.)

*Please note that payment of your LECTURE fee's is NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE. If you want, or your sponsors want, to receive a Tax deductible receipt it can only be given for OUTREACH FEES. * Unfortunately, tax deductible receipts only apply if the sponsor is sending their donation from the United States.

Next, send your check to:

  • Ywam El Paso,
    4444 Edgar Park Ave.,
    El Paso, TX 79904, USA.
  • - OR -
  • YWAM Project Funding,
Box 57100, 2480 East Hastings Street,
    Vancouver, BC, V5K 5G6, Canada
Please add $7-$9 dollars on each check sent to cover bank fees, check fees and wiring fees. No personal spending money can be sent through our accounts.

NOTE: We cannot accept any checks at our base here in Mazatlan. You must send them to the El Paso base in the US or to the Vancouver office in Canada.

OPTION #2 - Paying on-line with PayPal

PayPal charges 4% of your payment for processing fees. This process is very simple to use, but charges the most.

Click on the PayPal Donate button above and you will go directly to our PayPal page. You will see our Mexican name (Juventud con una Mision) at the top of the page. Fill in the donation unit price, then click Update Totals. If you already have an account, fill in your email and password. If you do not have a PayPal account, click continue. Fill in the information and click review order and continue.

OPTION #3 - ATM withdrawals.

If you have a debit card, you can use that and withdraw the money from your bank account and pay us here at the base in Mazatlan. The limit is usually $3000-$5000 pesos a day from the machines. However, some banks will charge you every time you withdraw from an ATM outside of your country.

OPTION #4-Wire transfers

This option I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t have checks available, usually in Europe. There’s a couple of stipulations that you will need to know:
-Most banks charge a wire transfer fee, so the student’s bank will probably charge them to send funds this way. Charges range anywhere from $25.00 on – $45.00.
-Send U.S. funds only.
-Email El Paso the following information as well as add it to the wire:

  • -Your name
  • -Our base: YWAM Mazatlan
  • -Lecture or Tuition fees

Summer Teams 2010!

Well, this summer has been pretty busy! So far, we have already had two teams...one team from Melbourne, Florida and another team from Indianapolis, Indiana. The first team was from Melbourne Calvary Chapel, which happens to be the Heather Madsen's home church. Their fearless leaders Julio and Mike, brought a new group of Middle Schoolers to Mazatlan, Mexico to minister in the colonias and do some evangelism at the Dolphins/ Flagpole area. What an amazing group of young people they were! All

Building Strong Foundations...

The coffee and cookies were served, people were seated, and as the call for sharing homework was made, shy whisperings and laughter were heard around the room. It was the third week of meeting together with the married couples of Colonia Sinaloa. Each week the co…

Hope for Haiti

In light of everything that has been going on in Haiti after the earthquake, Haiti has truly been on our hearts. After the hurricanes there in 2008, we sent an outreach team to work with the YWAM bases in the country. They had the opportunity to serve the YWAMers and Haitian people, help with hurricane relief work, and make lasting connections with the people of Haiti. Then, in the May of 2009, we received an outreach team from YWAM Haiti St. Marc that stayed with us for a few weeks. They shared…

Carnaval 2010!

Well, Carnaval is just around the corner and we are getting pumped for another year of celebrating God's love by reaching out to all the party-goers of Mazatlan's annual Carnaval. The festival begins on February 11th and ends on the 16th. There is a lot to plan, so we will keep you posted as it all unfolds. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the event.

Mexico City Outreach

The outreach team in Mexico City has been busy reaching out to the masses in bold and relevant ways. They have seen God's hand at work through the joining of churches uniting together to reach out to the people of their city and they have had the chance to help the Haitian embassy in Mexico after the earthquake in Haiti. They have had opportunities to work in two different high schools where they have been able to go into the classrooms and share all about God and the importance of knowing Him.…
