The Word of the Lord to Ywam Mazatlan is to raise up young leaders.

We are committed to young people; those we are reaching within the city itself and those that God brings to us from afar. Our goal is to see young leaders 'armed and dangerous' and ready for the challenges that lie ahead-impacting the city of Mazatlan, the Country of Mexico and the Nations beyond!

Staff Opportunities

YWAM Maz needs people to help in these areas:

• Video Production - If you have a heart for missions and communication and are interested in filming, editing, and producing videos, then we have a place for you! We have a vision for a strong media department that can produce effective promo and training videos to enhance our ministry. Let us know if you're interested!
• Skate Ministry Staff - Our Remnant Sk8 Ministry is growing and we need help! We've been seeing some incredible fruit through this ministry and we have a huge vision to see these young Maz skaters come to Jesus! If you are a skater with a heart to reach other skaters and you're looking for a place where you can use your skateboard as a "tool" for the Gospel then come get connected with us!
• The Zone Ministry Staff - The Tolerance Zone in Mazatlan is a place that's filled with lost hurting people that are desperate for hope and love, a place filled with drug addicts, prostitutes, and street kids. Our staff are available to go there and talk to people, pray with them, and share the love of Jesus, but we need help. We love this ministry because it targets the broken heart of the city and goes to the places Jesus would go, the places others avoid. Its not an easy job, but if God's putting it on your heart to extend His love to these people, then please contact us. We'd love to get connected with you.
• Graphic Designer / Media - We have a vision to develop our Media Department on base and we need graphic designers, DVD/Video production artists etc. If you have a heart to serve and use your skills in Media for God then we'd love to hear from you!
• Mechanic - We're looking for someone who can help us keep our vans in working condition (oil change, tires, engine repair, basic maintenance). If you're a trained mechanic or self-taught pro and would like to be involved in what God's doing down here in Mazatlan, then we would love to hear from you! - Must be familiar with vehicle engines and maintenance.
• Maintenance / Handyman - Our property is older and needs lots of renovations. We can always use people with practical skills in house maintenance, minor repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc. If you have any of these skills, or others, and are willing to serve, please contact us. We would love to hear from you! - Previous work experience and/or training only please
• Base Help - Throughout the year, our base hosts many visiting teams. With the extra people comes extra work. We need help in the kitchen, with maintenance, hospitality, logistics, and many other areas.

Criteria for STAFF

- To join staff at YWAM Mazatlan, you must have completed a YWAM DTS (Discipleship Training School) and must have a heart that's willing to learn, grow and serve.

The Process

Applying for Staff at Ywam Mazatlan is easy. You need only to download a Staff Application Form, complete it and then fax it back to us. We will then read, discuss and pray about it and get back to you in 1-2 weeks.
